One of our leading products is the Össur Rigid Dressing (ORD). This innovative postoperative dressing immobilizes and protects the residual limb immediately after a transtibial amputation and helps control edema. Using vacuum technology, the ORD adapts to the shape and volume of the residual limb, limits knee flexion, and helps prevent contractures. In addition, the enclosure contributes to pain relief and reduces the risk of discomfort during the early rehabilitation phase.

Össur also offers Iceross Post-Op liners for both transfemoral and transtibial amputations. These transparent silicone liners allow visual inspection of the skin and tissue and support wound healing, mobilization, and earlier prosthetic fitting. Compression therapy with Iceross Post-Op liners also promotes optimal shaping of the residual limb for a well-fitting prosthetic socket.
