30th European Vascular Course
March 7-9 2027, Maastricht, the Netherlands
The Home of European Vascular Training
From 7–9 March 2027 in Maastricht, the Netherlands, the European Vascular Course will celebrate
30 years of vascular training. Over the past three decades, EVC has developed a distinct identity
through its combination of practical hands-on training, focused lectures, and accessible
case discussions with international experts. In doing so, it has helped train thousands of
vascular specialists, trainees, and nurses. We look forward to marking this
milestone during the 30th edition of EVC.
Reflecting on EVC 2026
The 29th edition represented an important transition for EVC as the first course organized by the new
Executive Board. Building on EVC’s strong educational foundations,
the programme placed a renewed emphasis on vascular team training and successfully
introduced several new activities and educational concepts, including the Surgeon On-Call Programme,
the Surgical Arena, the Wellbeing Area with restorative workshops, and the Clinical Pathways.
EVC 2026 continued to attract a young audience and maintained its position as one of Europe’s leading
training-focused vascular events. The Clinical Pathways, structured around different vascular
disease areas, were particularly well received, enabling participants to follow personalized
learning journeys across lectures and workshops.
Looking Ahead to EVC 2027
For its 30th edition, EVC will continue to evolve while preserving its unique educational identity.
The programme will further expand personalized learning opportunities,
innovative training formats, and trainee involvement, while continuing to strengthen the
European vascular training community.
At the same time, EVC 2027 will provide an opportunity to celebrate 30 years of vascular education
and innovation, while looking ahead to the future of vascular training.
We look forward to welcoming you to Maastricht for EVC 2027!
