Vascular Team Training: Together We Learn

Dear Colleagues,

At the European Vascular Course (EVC), Vascular Team Training is the central theme of our 2026 course in Maastricht, taking place 8-10 March 2026. EVC has long delivered high-quality vascular training based on the combination of scientific lectures, case discussions and over 200 hands-on workshops. In 2026, we explicitly broaden this scope to the entire vascular team, including trainees and trainers, operating room nurses, vascular and physician assistants, and dialysis access nurses: because optimal vascular care is delivered by well-trained teams.

What’s new in 2026

  • A dedicated Vascular Team Training Day on Monday, specifically designed for operating and vascular specialist nurses and physician assistants
  • All scientific sessions will open with a joint case presentation by a trainee and trainer, reinforcing mentorship and shared decision-making
  • Continued emphasis on hands-on training, case-based learning, and team interaction

Special grant offer for trainers/consultants

To actively support departmental training and knowledge transfer:

Bring two trainees to EVC, and obtain a grant for your own free registration as trainer.

This initiative encourages learning together, strengthens follow-up discussions, and maximises educational impact.
