On Monday, March 11, at 12h00 we proudly welcome Dr Andre Kuipers, who is a Dutch astronaut working for the European Space Agency. Dr Kuipers has been involved in many research projects, astronaut training and on-board operations of the International Space Station.EVC 2013 GALLERY

Dearest colleague and dearest EVC participant,
Two weeks ago we organized the 17th European Vascular Course and we enjoyed to have such a great number of delegates, coming from 58 different countries. It is a real new phenomenon for EVC to host more than 1700 participants (1200 MD’s, 200 vascular nurses, 300 medical industry and health care providers). The combination of invited lectures, workshops, master classes, interactive case discussions and textbooks guaranteed the EVC credo “learning by training”.
We also welcomed the examiners and candidates for examinations of the UEMS Section and Board of vascular surgery.
The EVC Quiz was performed by several hundred of participants and Dr Rolim from Portugal won the first price and receives a new IPad.
Due to national holidays we have moved the next EVC from March to May 12-14, 2014. We hope to see you in Maastricht then and you can expect the preliminary program in a few weeks.
